About LazySpy
What is LazySpy?
LazySpy is a community accountability tool for World of Warcraft battlegrounds — think of it like Raider.io for PvP. Just as Raider.io tracks dungeon and raid performance to help the PvE community find reliable teammates, LazySpy tracks battleground behavior to encourage better teamwork in PvP.
It celebrates genuine team players, identifies patterns of AFK behavior and early leaving, and creates a transparent record that follows characters across realms and factions.
✅ This is NOT a bullying tool. LazySpy exists to promote accountability and teamwork. Character names are public (just like Raider.io scores), but BattleTags and personal info are never shown publicly — only admins can see them. All reporters are held accountable, and the abuse detection system bans anyone who files false or malicious reports.

FAQ
Is this addon bannable?
LazySpy only uses official WoW API functions available to all addons. It does not automate gameplay or modify game data.
Can I be falsely reported?
All reporters are tracked by BattleTag (visible to admins only). The abuse detection system flags mass-reporters and spam. False reporting leads to the reporter being banned from submitting.
Is this a bullying/harassment tool?
No. LazySpy is a community accountability tool — like Raider.io for PvP. Character names are public (just as they are in-game and on armory), but BattleTags and personal info are never exposed. The goal is to encourage teamwork, not target individuals.
What data is public vs. private?
Public: character name, realm, faction, class, reputation score, and BG stats. Private (admin-only): BattleTags, IP addresses, reporter identities. This mirrors how Raider.io shows your score publicly but doesn't expose who rated your key.
How does leave tracking work?
The addon detects when players join and leave a battleground. Leaving very early (under 5 minutes) carries a double penalty vs. leaving late in a match.
Can I improve my reputation?
Yes! Staying in BGs, contributing to objectives, and getting Team Player votes will raise your score over time.
What slash commands are available?
Type /ls in-game to see all commands. Popular ones include /ls check <player>, /ls vote <player>, and /ls joke.
